COPIISA OFFSHORE

SAMSUNG ENGINEERING

Samsung Engineering and Copiisa Offshore are working on the manufacturing of 24 complete block systems for chemical dosing, which will be destined for Package 2 of the Dos Bocas Refinery in Tabasco, Mexico.

The packages are developed to dose chemical products, adhering to the following standards:

  • ET-095-PEMEX-2019

  • ET-150-PEMEX-2019

  • ET-036-PEMEX-2019

ET-028-PEMEX-2019among other client specifications, to ensure proper operation and high-quality equipment for chemical injection at the Dos Bocas Refinery.

The integration of these systems is customized to meet the project’s requirements, including the supply of main equipment such as:

  • Positive displacement diaphragm pumps
  • Pressure and level transmitters

  • 316 stainless steel piping

  • Junction boxes

  • Positive displacement pneumatic pumps

  • Tanks compliant with ASME code

This is because Copiisa Offshore is committed to meeting brand requirements and can adapt to space constraints and injection capacity for each package to eliminate corrosion, antifoaming, anti-scaling, or remove microorganisms that could alter the refinery’s primary product.

ICA FLUOR - DOS BOCAS

Copiisa Offshore is working on the manufacturing of Instrument Air Dryers for the company ICA FLOUR DANIEL, which will be destined for the Olmeca Refinery in Dos Bocas, Tabasco.

The instrument air dryers include a compressed air extraction tank, pre- and post-dryer filters, as well as an instrument air storage tank.

This unit has been packed and shipped by land to Tabasco, Mexico, as it is part of Package 2 for the Olmeca Refinery in Dos Bocas.

TECHINT - DOS BOCAS

As part of the development project for Package 4A, Phase II-B of the Dos Bocas Refinery, four Corrosion Inhibitor Injection Packages (SPE-87108, SPE-87208, SPE-87308, and SPE-87408) will be supplied.

Each of these packages will be integrated with a structural steel skid containing a ‘tote’ storage vessel for corrosion inhibitor, two corrosion inhibitor dosing pumps, interconnection piping, instruments, and a power panel.

Chemical dosing systems are used when chemicals need to be injected into a process, such as a corrosion inhibitor, which will dose the chemical into the sour water plant 212.
